New Wild Swing for Karls Erlebnis-Dorf, Elstal, Germany

Karls Erlebnis-Dorf, Elstal, the amusement park in the west of Berlin, has already opened the 3rd Wild Swing by ART Engineering 11 months after the opening of the prototype in Fantasiana, Austria.

The attraction is called Wetter-Umschwung and is located in the new themed area Wetterwelt.

Of course, the strawberry also plays a role in the theming here. The counterweights were designed as giant strawberries.

Nothing has changed in the technical data. This attraction is a swing that is equipped with 2 x 8 seats back to back of the gondola. Ergonomic polyurethane foam seats with individual restraints are providing high level of comfort. The ride is driven by 2 low-maintenance electric motors. The attraction has a small footprint of only 6x11m (clearance of approx. 15x12m), for minimum space requirement in parks. The capacity is up to 500 persons / hour, depending on the ride program. With an operation height of approx. 12m the „Wild Swing“ provides a great ride experience.

The new attraction is designed for the whole family. The 2 different directions of the gondola, dynamic motion but without inversions will provide great ride experience and already for children from 90cm / 32in.
